Miura PI-401 Irons

The new Miura iron from the 2021 season is called PI-401, where PI stands for “Player Improvement”. Miura is more of a manufacturer that relies on the classic forging technique, but they don’t want to rely on it exclusively. That’s why Miura designed this “Two Piece” iron.

It is not necessarily massive and rather compact. The topline and sole are not that broad – like other irons in this category. The centre of gravity is extremely low for an easier launch. The feel is still typical for a Miura.

As a rule, a 5-GW iron set is recommended for the PI-401. The lofts are a little stronger and therefore an additional gap wedge is recommended.
